They are each about 5 minutes and are intended to be calming and relaxing - especially as many people experience stress throughout the work day. I have been practicing Bikram Yoga for 9 months now, and the more I practice, the more I want to know about this yoga series and how it benefits my body and mind. At first, I was more motivated by the physical impact yoga had on my body - I was getting in shape! But, lately, I have begun to see how yoga has impacted me in other ways. I see how I am connected to the world and those around me. But more importantly, I feel like I am a stronger person - not just physically, but mentally. We are in the process of putting together the schedule for summer. One thing is for sure - we will not be running Saturday morning classes for the months of July and August. But don't fret, there will still be many opportunities on Monday-Thursday to get your Bikram fix! If you have requests for class times, let Terry know!
